Upon arrival, you will be warmly met by a representative, who will provide assistance and transfer to your accommodation to check-in.

Activities:

• 10:00 The Pride Of Africa departs Rovos Rail’s Station in Capital Park. Guests may freshen up in their suites before joining fellow travellers in the midway Lounge car or Observation carriage at the rear of the train.
• 13:00 Lunch is served in the dining car/s as the train passes through Belfast at 1 970ms.
• 17:00 The train departs Waterval Boven and travels the spectacular 14km descent through the Drakensberg escarpment arriving in Waterval Onder (1 310ms) at 18h00.
• 19:30 Dinner is served in the dining car/s.
• 24:00 The train will arrive at Malelane Station for the overnight stop.

Overnight: Train – (L, D)

Activities:

• 07:00 – 10:00 Breakfast is served as the train departs Malelane travelling along the border of the Kruger Park.
• 12:30 Lunch is served as we pass through the Swaziland border en route to Mpaka station.
• 15:00 Arrive Mkhaya Reserve for our afternoon game drive. The weather can be very warm, so please ensure  you have hats and sun protection. As the evening drive progresses the weather can cool down considerably so please also ensure that you take warm clothing. Rain capes will be available if required.
• 18:00 Board the train at Quarry siding for 18:15 departure to Hluhluwe in Zululand.
• 19:30 Dinner is served in the dining car/s.

Overnight: Train – (B, L, D)

Activities:
01:30 The train will arrive at Hluhluwe Station.
05:00 An early morning wake up call for a game drive in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve.
05:15 Tea, coffee, juices, fruit and pastries will be served in the dining car/s.
08:00 The Game Rangers will stop for a short bathroom break at Hilltop Camp where tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. Please ensure that you are warmly dressed. As the morning drive progresses the weather can warm up considerably, so please also ensure you have hats and sun protection. Rain capes will be available if required.
11:00 – 13:00 Brunch will be served in the dining car/s while we travel through the Valley of a Thousand Hills en route to our final destination.
18:00 Arrive in Durban – (B)
