• Audiovisual and night experience of “The Mystic World of the Kallawayas”, natural healers of Bolivia. They believe that you first have to heal the soul in order to heal your body. Tata Benjo, – our Kallawaya – will bless visitors and answer questions by casting his sacred coca leaves.

• Hydrofoil cruise to the Kalauta Island. Visit the ruins of an ancient stone Village and one of the largest Necropolis in the area with its mysterious Chullpas mortuary towers; some of them with 2 and 3 floors. Enjoy a navigation on Lake Titicaca, swinging among totora-reed canals to reach the Urus Iruitos Floating Islands & Quewaya Sustainable Project, a rescue of an over 5.000 years old culture and a social project created to assure their survival. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Royal Range of the Andes.
• Typical lunch: the Aptapi is one of the most interesting “sharing” expressions of the Andes Indigenous communities, since it is a ritual meal where everybody participates, contributing with different kind of food.
• Return to Huatajata.
• By night visit the Native Observatory Alajpacha. Learn from the Aymaras Cosmovision and watch the southern constellations.

Crossing the Bolivian High Plateau, arrive to the archaeological site of Tiwanaku (1.580 BC-1.000 AD). These magnificent ruins of Bolivia belong to one of the oldest civilizations in the Americas. The Sun Gate, the Temple of Kalasasaya and the Pyramid of Akapana are the sample of a glorious past. Tiwanaku culture was an agrarian based economy with an estimated population of 115.000 inhabitants.
