Day 1 Istanbul

Activities:

Visit Topkapi Palace the ancient residence of Ottoman Sultans.
Then visit the Hagia Sophia Museum and later Blue Mosque with its beautiful Iznik tiles.
After seeing the Hippodrome we will end the day with a visit to Grand Bazaar. Drive back to the hotel.
Overnight: Istanbul – (B)

Activities:

• Transfer to airport for a short flight to Cappadocia. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to the Cappadocia region.

Overnight: Cappadocia – (B, D)

Activities:

• Explore the lunar landscape of Cappadocia visiting the Pasabag (Monks’) Valley and Avanos and visit a regional pottery workshop.
• Then see Goreme open air museum.
• We will finish the day with a visit to the Kaymakli or Ozkonak Underground City and Pigeon Valley.

Activities:

• Drive to Konya which was the capital of Selcuk Empire.
• En Route we will visit Sultanhani Caravanserai.
• Upon arrival to Konya we visit Mevlana Museum which houses his tomb and the museum where was the center of Whirling Dervishes sect.
• Drive to Pamukkale.

Activities:

• Today we continue to explore Hierapolis ancient city hosting the greatest necropolis in Anatolia.
• Enjoy walking on the hot spring waters on the snow white terraced ponds.
• Then we drive to Kusadasi.

Activities:

• Today we will visit the Ephesus ancient city maybe the greatest of all sites in Asia Minor.
• Our tour includes the Library, Marble Street and the great theatre with 24 000 seats. We will also visit the House of St. Mary.

Activities:

• Today we drive to Bergama which was ancient Pergamum and visit the Asclepion.
• Then we proceed to the ancient city of Troy the city famous with Trojan Horse.
• Then we continue to Canakkale.

Overnight: Canakkale – (B, D)

Activities:

• We cross the famous Dardanelles by ferry.
• Today we will visit the World War I memorials at Gallipoli.
• See Anzac Cove and Lone Pine Cemetery.
• Continue to Istanbul.

Overnight: Istanbul – (B, D)

Departure: This morning we will transfer you to the international airport for outgoing flights. – (B, L, D)
