Day 1 Arrival San Jose

Thinking about taking an adventure holiday In Costa Rica… we have got what you are looking for. This program includes some of the most exciting activities from wild and scenic rivers, volcanoes, horseback riding, sea kayaking and much more!

Upon arrival at airport in Costa Rica, you will be warmly met by a representative, who will provide assistance and transfer to your accommodation to check-in.

Day 2 Pacuare Whitewater Rafting - Arenal

Activities:

  • Today our adventure starts early morning to reach the Pacuare River for a rafting trip. This river has been officially declared a Wild and Scenic River, and offers some of the finest white water in Latin America, winding deep inside of one of Costa Ricas most impressive primordial rainforests.
  • Breakfast en route and lunch is served along the river. After this tour, our representative will transfer you under shuttle bus basis to the Arenal area.
  • Arenal’s perfectly symmetrical shape makes it a sightseer’s dream, while its abundance of outdoor activities makes it an easy place to check things off your “must-do in Costa Rica” list. So visit one of the nicest volcanoes in Costa Rica, cloud forests, a lake world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife is just part of what you will find in this amazing area of Costa Rica.

Day 3 Hike in Arenal Volcano National Park

Activities:

  • Morning at leisure.
  • Late afternoon visit to the trails of El Silencio and the volcanic thermal mineral pools at Tabacón Hot Springs, where you can enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak.

Day 4 Arenal – Monteverde

Activities:

  • Morning departure to the Arenal Lake where a boat will be waiting for you to provide a private service. On the other side of the lake, a bus will take you on gravel road to reach Monteverde.
  • Monteverde was founded about 40 years ago by a small group of conservation-minded Quakers who were looking for a peaceful place to live. Its Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the most outstanding wild life sanctuaries in the tropics.

Day 5 Private Sky Trek - Tram

Activities:

  • Morning visit to the Sky Zipline & Tram facilities. The Sky Trek is a system of seven platforms suspended above the ground in the midst of tree boughs. Zip lines attached from one platform to another will allow you to slide with the use of special equipment.
  • In Sky Tram explore the world famous Cloud Forest of Monteverde in a 5,249 feet ride that would lead you up to Costa Rica Continental Divide.
  • Free afternoon for optional tours such as horseback riding or a guided visit into the reserve (not included into package).

Day 6 Monteverde – Manuel Antonio

Activities:

  • After breakfast you will depart on private transfer towards the Central Pacific Coast to Manuel Antonio. Check in at hotel.
  • The afternoon is free to explore the surroundings.
  • Manuel Antonio is considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful park, with enchanting white-sand beaches ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest forest alive with wildlife. Watch for the monkeys and iguanas who share the park with you.  Most hotels are small and intimate, set high on a hill overlooking the rain forest, endless beaches and the national park.

Day 7 Coastal Kayak in Manuel Antonio

Activities:

  • This morning you will have a private Kayak tour. Feel free to have your bilingual naturalist guide direct you to the best snorkeling spots as you experience three small but growing, active, and astounding coral reef systems nestled very close to the shore of Biezans.
  • Or just relax and enjoy the tranquility of a private white sand beach.
  • After an unforgettable experience at Biezans, continue kayaking towards Manuel Antonio National Park and wonder at the nearby nesting islands where exotic boobies and frigates call home year round.

Day 8 Return to San Jose - Departure

Departure: Transfer will be provided to the International airport.
